i am learning parsers for my final year, but i am learning along with compilers. seems to me that parsers have been used with java, xml and others how do i learn about parsers?

Parser seems really interesting project. Im graphical designer, i make mostly web and print ads. Usually i have usen readymade cms like Joomla or Modx etc. But now i think i should start learnign parser and start doing my own stuff :) Great job dudes thank you :) If you ever visit Vuokatti in Finland i will buy u beer :) thanks thanks and thanks again. Parser is great for people who dont wanna learn loats of php and mysql to do something. I really like this. ps. i think that it could be good idea to show somekind of administrating system coded by parser? That was only thing i missed here, docs were good and nice showcases really (alltought what can u expect from Art Lebedev Studio, so good quality was not suprise :D ).

I cant create image. I read documentation many times. I create an blank gif image (counter.gif), create digits like this.

Suddenly it doesnt work.. Browser wrote: Unhandled Exception (Debug) font-file height(130) not divisable by alphabet size(7), remainder=4 font z:/home/test2.ru/www/auto.p(73) exception.type=parser.runtime Pls tell me, where is a mistake..

Problem: The database has got two major types of tables: ${section_name}_sub == sections subsections, where: idx gives each subsection a unique id, parent shows the parent subsections idx, children indicates if this subsections got child subsections ${section_name} == sections pages (uri, title, etc. included) The problem is to make a universal directory listing machine, that is the one that would check if a subdir has/hasnt any children and do different type of things. In the end it must be like:

The thing is that it must work however many nesting levels are present (thats what I mean by universal lister), so that I could just add new entries in ${section_name}_sub and ${section}. That is, I know that there must be some loop (even more than one), but still cannot get what loop to use and HOW...

Its even not an idea, just a draft. The community produces free parser version of DevEdit (for example) and after short victorous discussion they puts information about it, with a link for this site. So weve got crowds of people wanting to save 300 bucks :))) The trouble is that Interspire team wont agree to participate... So we have to made an offer which they wouldnt be able to reject :)))

In case "my threads" is empty(you aint got any messages) you get a "No one your message was found." notification, which isnt really in english.
